I am Shoaib Hayat, a researcher, software engineer, and technology entrepreneur operating across Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Islamabad, Pakistan. I hold a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from Donghua University, Shanghai, China, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Computer Science from the University of Lahore, Pakistan.
My work focuses on the convergence of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain Technology, Web3, and Enterprise Software Engineering, where I design and lead the development of innovative, scalable, and secure digital solutions. As the CEO & Founder of Digital Code (SMC-Pvt) Ltd. and IT Manager & Software Engineering Advisor at IXOLITE DMCC, Dubai, I oversee the architecture, development, and deployment of AI-powered and blockchain-enabled platforms that address real-world business and technological challenges.
Alongside my industry work, I am actively engaged in academic research. I serve as a Peer Reviewer for Clarivate Web of Science-indexed journals, including IEEE Access, where I have completed more than 18 peer reviews. My research has been published in leading IEEE and ACM venues, with interests spanning Artificial Intelligence, Federated Learning, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, Smart Healthcare, and Human Activity Recognition (HAR).
Beyond technology and research, I am committed to leadership, public service, and community development. I serve as an Executive Member of the Youth Parliament of Pakistan and volunteer with the United Nations, Geneva, contributing to initiatives focused on innovation, education, youth empowerment, and sustainable development.
